Travel Safety in Liechtenstein

Overview

Liechtenstein is generally safe. Petty crime, although rare throughout the country, occasionally occurs in the capital, Vaduz.

The risks of kidnapping, civil unrest and conflict are negligible. Currently, terrorism is not a major concern in the country.

Both private and public medical facilities are widely available and are of a good standard. While most medical conditions can be treated at such facilities, emergencies may require transfer to Switzerland or Austria.
