Fiji is generally safe with few security risks. Crime is a minor concern across most parts of the country but remains slightly more of a risk in urban areas such as Suva.
Demonstrations do not commonly occur, but when they do they too are more likely to take place in larger cities such as Suva.
The risks of kidnapping and conflict in Fiji are negligible. Currently, terrorism is not a concern.
Medical facilities in Suva are adequately equipped to deal with primary medical concerns, but resources in rural areas are scarce.
